He’s got the talent to create new characters instead of milking his hit for years. I admire that. Most comedians would have taken the huge check in a heartbeat, and allowed their once-fresh creations to become tired and stale (e.g. Ernest, Dorf, Super Dave, Ace Ventura).

That’s very good news. It was really a stunning testimony to the level of sheer stupidity prevalent in American society when Borat’s extremely low-brow, gross out humor topped the box office. On some level, I equate an electorate that would vote in George Bush with a populace that would find humor in Borat. It’s idiocracy, either way.

It doesn’t matter. Where one douche-bag falls, another will rise to take his place. Maybe another Austin powers movie will come out.

Quality comedian finally stops repeating obnoxious one-liner.Stuff was hilarious for the first four years or so. Glad to see him at least trying to move on.

Not surprising. Any “hidden camera” show is going to fail when the character is too recognizable. Nearly everyone is at least aware of Borat and he will never receive the genuine reactions he received in the movie. I think Ali G still has some life. Not nearly as many people know about him.
